The Dragon Dimension Reborn

(3.5 out of 5)This movie was about average. I liked the first one more. Plus, the first one wasn’t as gorey. I mean, they went a little too far with the blood and gore and violence. 8 year-old boys were killed, little babies were eaten,pregnant women were…………I won’t even tell you it’s too gross. That too me, was the worst part about this movie. The fighting in the first movie was way cooler and better, but the fighting scenes in this one was awesome as well. Plus, the alien/predator hybrid was cool. Another problem is this movie is it’s really hard to see what’s going on, you really have to stare at the TV. The setting for the whole movie was at night.(just about)Other than that, the movie was kinda good.

The movie follows right after the first one, like a couple of minutes afterward. I won’t ruin the first movie if you haven’t seen it, let’s just say that the Predator ship that was leaving Earth crashes in a small Colorado town and unleashes the Predator/Alien hybrid,along with a ton of aliens. There, the aliens slowly start picking off the townspeople one by one. The people of the town have to stand together and not only fight off the aliens, but also the new Predator, which has come to Earth to exterminate  all the aliens. But don’t think he’s on the humans  side, he’s on his side. The Predator even kills a couple of humans.  So the townspeople has to hold out until the army comes to save them, but the army is not planning on helping the civilians, they’re main priority is containment first. Which means, that the aliens are multiplying by the second.

This movie was an okay movie. If they had toned down the violence a bit and the night scenes would have been perfected I would probably have given this a better review. But, despite it’s many flaws I do recommend this movie, probably like a second choice movie, like the movie you wanted to rent was sold out but this was available. I might just buy this movie, since I’ve already got the first one. Be a shame to not complete the collection.Most reviews from this movie were bad from critics but here’s the thing. It’s a critic’s job to hate films and find every flaw in it. I base reviews on if I like it and whatnot. If I like a film but I have to give a bad review like critics do, that’s like lying to me. I think of myself as a true critic.

Sorry, this was the funniest part in the movie but it’s the only one I could find. Bad quality.

(4 out of 5) To me, this wasn’t as good as The Last Crusade, but better than the Temple of Doom and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. The movie leaves off a couple of years after The Last Crusade. Poor Indiana Jones is an old man and is kidnapped by the Soviet Union, along with his pal, Mac.He is forced to help find and bring the Crystal Skull back to it’s rightful place.The legend goes whoever returns the Crystal Skull gets control of it’s power. Along the way, Indy is joined by a teen rebel named Mutt and his old flame Marion. She’s from Raiders of the Lost Ark by the way.

The movie had some weird moments, and some of the stunts were totally unbelievable,(or hard to imagine that could be done, and live).Plus, you really had to pay attention throughout the whole movie or you might get lost.The plot was good, but some things in it made you scratch your head, and spend the rest of the night on how it all comes together. But you’ll get it eventually.Some scenes in the movie were definitely laugh out loud and oh that’s cool. I highly recommend you go see this movie. Whether you’re a big Indy fan or you haven’t even seen the movies. More than likely you’ll like this movie.

Mickey Mouse is another one that deserves a spot in the Shrine to the Greats. Mickey Mouse was created in 1928 by Walt Disney and was even voiced by Walt Disney!Since his creation Mickey has become the icon of the Walt Disney Company. The company even celebrates Mickey’s birthday, which is on November 18, 1928. That was when Steamboat Willie was released, where Mickey first appeared.

Mickey Mouse was created as a replacement for Oswald the Lucky Rabbitm, an earlier cartoon character created by the Disney Studio for Charles Mintz of Universal Studios.When Disney asked for a larger budget for his popular Oswald series, Mintz announced he had hired the bulk of Disney’s staff, but that Disney could keep doing the Oswald series, as long as he agreed to a budget cut and went on the payroll. Mintz owned Oswald and thought he had Disney over a barrel. Angrily, Disney refused the deal and returned to produce the final Oswald cartoons he contractually owed Mintz. Disney was dismayed at the betrayal by his staff, but determined to restart from scratch. The new Disney Studio initially consisted of animator Ub Iwerks and a loyal apprentice artist, Les Clark. One lesson Disney learned from the experience was to thereafter always make sure that he owned all rights to the characters produced by his company.

In the spring of 1928, Disney asked Ub Iwerks to start drawing up new character ideas. Iwerks tried sketches of frogs, dogs and cats, but none of these appealed to Disney. A female cow and male horse were also rejected. They would later turn up as Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar.

Walt Disney got the inspiration for Mickey Mouse from his old pet mouse he used to have on his farm. In 1925,Hugh Harman drew some sketches of mice around a photograph of Walt Disney. These inspired Ub Iwerks to create a new mouse character for Disney called Mickey Mouse.

Walt Disney was originally going to call the mouse Mortimer Mouse, but his wife insisted it was a bad name. The really cool part about this is that there is a bad guy on a show on Toon Disney,House of Mouse, and his name is Mortimer Mouse. Neat little easter egg.

Mikey and Minnie Mouse debuted together in an old short called Plane Crazy, which was released on May 15 1928.The plot of Plane Crazy was fairly simple. Mickey Theodore Mouse is apparently trying to become a pilot, he then builds his own plane and asks Minnie to join him.Mickey as portrayed in Plane Crazy was mischievous, amorous, and has often been described as a rogue. At the time of its first release, however, Plane Crazy apparently failed to impress audiences, and to add insult to injury, Walt could not find a distributor. Though understandably disappointed, Walt went on to produce a second Mickey short.

Mickey Mouse didn’t start wearing his trademark gloves until March 28, 1929 in the Opry House.Mickey can be seen wearing them in most of his subsequent appearances. Supposedly one reason for adding the white gloves was to allow audiences to distinguish the characters’ hands when they appeared against their bodies, as both were black (Mickey did not appear in color until The Band Concert in 1935.)

To sum things up so we can get on to one of my favorite things Mickey Mouse has starred in, Mickey Mouse, ever since his debut, has become one of the most popular and successful cartoons in the world today.

Now on to one of my favorite video game series, which stars none other than Mickey Mouse. In the Kingdom Hearts series Mickey is the king of the Disney universe. He, along with Donald,Goofy, Minnie, and other popular Disney characters live on a world called Disney Castle. When the universe is threatened by a force called the Heartless, Mickey sets out to stop them, giving Donald and Goofy orders to find the keyblade master. In KH2, King Mickey wields a keyblade himself and can be called upon to help the keyblade master if he is in need.King Mickey will also appear more in the Kingdom Hearts series, so be ready for Birth By Sleep and 358/2 Days, the newest editions to the series.

These are some nicely done but fake box covers for the PS3 version of Soulcalibur 4.

The first one has Cloud from the Final Fantasy series.

The next one has Kratos.He would totally kick butt if he was in Soulcalibur for real!

A tribute to the coolest Marvel villain ever!Venom!

Now, don’t think I’m crazy or something like that but I can’t help think I or we, have a higher calling in life. Or at least I hope we do. I mean come on people, is this the life you want?Just working for the rest of your life, raising a family, and dying, and a couple of years later, you will not be remembered because you didn’t do something great in life?Living or having no grand adventures.I’m not saying living a normal life is bad or anything, it just doesn’t seem the life for me. I want and hope to have a higher purpose. Yes, I want to make a difference in the world and want to be remembered as a hero. You may call me insane but go ahead. I’m already twisted,duh. I’m not sure how but I will make a difference in the world.

I know this was a random post. Just telling you guys what’s on my mind lately.Do you think there is a higher purpose for you?

(4.5 out of 5)This was a great movie!To me it was way better than the first one.With awesome battle scenes and a great storyline. Here is a little preview of the storyline. A group of humans have invaded Narnai called the Tameriens.They now rule Narnai and the creatures were forced to hide in the forest. A boy called Caspian was destined to become the next king of Narnai, tha is until his evil uncle has a son. No longer needed, Casian flees for fear of being killed. He escapes into the forests and meet the Narnains. He acquires an ancient relic, Queen Susan’s horn, and he blows it. The horn gives the power to transport back Peter,Susan,Edmund, and Lucy back into Narnai.But it is not the Narnai they remembered. It’s been one year for them, one thousand three hundred years for Narnai. The Pevensie children run into Prince Caspian and together, they form a plan to try to take back Narnai.

 To me, this movie never left me bored for a second. It was a little darker than the first.(Let’s say a guy’s head gets chopped off.)But it was nothing extreme, no blood or anything like that. I kinda liked they went for a darker version in this sequel.It is still though, not so dark little kids can’t see it. The graphics and the creatures were sweet. Well anyway, this movie was really good and I was very glad to see this. I recommend anyone to see this.I can’t wait now for the Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Robert was led underground. In the City of Theives. The City of Theives is an ancient fortress. It belongs to a band of robbers called the Blessed Theives. The Blessed Theives were just like Robert. Every member in the group had the power to shapeshift. The Blessed Theives only accepted people with shapeshifting powers, and once in, you cannot get out. Even if you tried, they would kill you.That was why Robert was here. As he was being led through the city his mind wandered back a long time ago, back when he was a member of this evil band of robbers. He was lead to the palace,where the king of the Blessed Theives resided.

A leopard and a rhino stood in front of the entrance to the palace, guarding it. With a nod from Molly the animals stepped out of the way and they entered the building. Robert was led down a dark hall and into a huge conference room, where dozens of animals gazed down on him from stands high above. They growled,hissed,cawed, and bellowed other animal noises as he entered the room. One animal, sitting on a golden throne with a dragon and a man in a circle, with the all too familar half man half dragon in the center.It was the symbol of the Blessed Theives.Sitting on the throne was a mighty lion, the lion said nothing,only stared at Robert.Finally, he roared and all the animals fell silent.

The lion finally said,”Well, well, well, I can’t beleive you have returned home my dear Robert.”

“I really didn’t have a choice.”Robert replied and glared at Molly.

“I should kill you for your betrayal Robert but that would be a waste of my time and your powers.”the lion said,”I give you  choice. You can rejoin the Blessed Theives, or suffer. But beleive me, you will wished I killed you when I’m done with you.”

“Thanks but no thanks Leo.”Robert answered.

“How dare you talk to me like that!I’m the king and you will address me as such!”The lion growled.

“You!?A king!?Don’t flatter yourself.You’re a leader of a band of pickpockets.”Robert said.

At that the lion bellowed.His roar filled the room and shook it.”Maybe some weeks in the cellar will change your mind!Guards!”

At once a polar bear and an andaconda stepped forward and led Robert out of the room. He was pushed down even deeper underground.Into the damp,cold lonely cellar. He changed back into his human form and shrunk into the far corner of the wall. He heaved of sigh at the mess he was in now. He had tried so hard to get away from this group.Now he was back and at the mercy of the king,Dunican.

All of the sudden the door to the cellar opened and three people came in, not animals.Two were the guards and the other was Molly. Molly had beautiful long black hair and a body to match. She walked over to him and laid down a tray of food, and by food it was a peice of bread and water.

“I’m sorry, but King Dunican won’t let you have much.Part of your punishment.”Molly said.Robert said nothing, only looked at her with hatred in his eyes,”Listen, Robert.Stop this nonsense and come back to us. You’re only making this worse by denying coming back.”

“I’m not joining the acursed band again. When I left I left for good.”Robert replied, and turned away from her.

“But what else is there for you? The king will keep you here till you die or accept the invite to join back.You cannot escape and you know it. The cellar walls are made of titanium and you know you can’t break through it.”Molly asked.

“I don’t care. After what I’ve seen being in this group. I’m not gonna come back to it.”Robert said, and pushed the food away.Molly rose up and walked out of the cellar, wiping a tear away as she went.Robert soon fell asleep and dreamed of his time in the Blessed Theives.
