Gorgon had been held prisoner of the Earth Gods for over a week now. He had seen that Nathaniel creep every day, who came into his room just to talk. Gorgon looked at the clock overhead. He sighed to himself. It was about time for that moron to show his face again.

As if on cue, the door opened and Nathaniel came into the room. This time though, he had two people accompany him. One was a man, dressed in some kind of robe with the Earth Gods symbol on it. The other was a woman with the same robe and symbol on it. They stood by the door as Nathaniel walked up to Gorgon.

“I would like you to meet Domenick and Sarah.”Nathaniel said and the two people in the guards raised their heads in acknowledgment.

“Drop dead.”Gorgon replied and laid back on his bed.

Nathaniel ignored the comment and went on,”We have a special treat for you Gorgon. The boss would like to me you today. In fact, he wants to meet you right now. We’re going to have a meeting to see if you are truly worthy to join the Earth Gods.”Nathaniel said.

“How many times do I have to tell you you idiot!I…..DO…NOT…….WANT……..TO…….JOIN!”Gorgon yelled.

“Well either way you have to come with me.”Nathaniel replied, and snapped his fingers.Domenick arms suddenly extended and wrapped around Gorgon. Gorgon yelled and struggled as he was lifted up and out of the room. Gorgon was led out of the room and into a vast hallway. Domenick carried him down the hallway and in front of a huge wooden door. Sarah opened it and Domenick threw

him in it. They closed the doorbehind him and he was locked in a huge room. Gorgon gazed around the room to see faces staring down at him from stands up above.
“Who are you creeps!?”Gorgon yelled at the people. One of the people in the stands rose up. He addressed Gorgon in a huge and booming voice.
“Welcome Gorgon. I hope your stay here at the Earth God’s HQ has been comfortable.”the man said.
“As comfortable as being held against my will can be.”Gorgon replied.
“Sorry about that. But if we just asked you to join we knew you would refuse. So we took you here in order for us to convince you to join us, The Earth Gods.My name is Marcus. I am the leader of the Earth Gods.”the man said.
“So you are the head physco. Nice to meet ya.”Gorgon sneered.
“I would advise you to keep comments like that to yourself. Insulting me can get you killed.”Marcus warned.
“Whatever, just release me. I’m sick of this place and your creepy lacky Nathaniel.”Gorgon replied.
“Don’t you want to join us?The Earth Gods?We are the chosen ones after all, destined to rule the world and govern over the normal people in it.Join us and you too, shall rule this world.”Marcus said.
“No thanks. I’ve had enough crazies for a lifetime.Now release me!”Gorgon said.

“That little burst of temper has earned you a week in your room. Maybe then, you’ll have a change of mind and see our ingenious plan. Our destiny.”Marcus replied and snapped his fingers. The doors behind Gorgon opened and Sarah and Domenick came in. Domenick grabbed him once again and carried him back to his cell, or his room as they called it.Gorgon was kicking and screaming, not wanting to go back to his prison.They opened his room door and threw him in, and locked the door behind him.
“I’m trapped in this room once again!I have got to get out of here!”Gorgon yelled and suddenly a grin appeared on his face as he figured out the solution.
Nathaniel nodded at the soldiers guarding Gorgon’s room. The soldiers nodded back and Nathaniel opened the door. He came in, carrying in a tray of food. It was Gorgon dinner. Nathaniel looked around and noticed the room was empty.
“Gorgon?Gorgon?Where are you?”Nathaniel asked.
The door behind him creaked as Gorgon got out from behind it.”Right here.”Gorgon sneered.Before Nathaniel could even turn to meet Gorgon, Gorgon grabbed his head and twisted it to one side.Gorgon heard a huge crack as Nathaniel’s neck broke. Nathaniel lifeless body fell to the floor.
Luckliy, the guards had not heard the sound. Gorgon started rummaging through Nathaniel’s pockets. He found a key and inserted it in the keyhole on his glasses. There was a click as the sunglasses were unlocked and they fell to the floor.Gorgon’s eyes were free. He also found Nathaniel’s own sunglasses and took them. He slowly walked out of the opened doorway and tapped the guards on the soldier. They turned around and unforunately, looked into Gorgon’s blood-red eyes. Their own eyes turned to stone and then their whole body. Gorgon laughed and placed Nathaniel’s sunglasses over his eyes.

Gorgon looked around in the hall and saw a window. He walked towards it and looked out. Trees and hills were everywhere, as far as the eye could see. He walked back to the stone guards and picked up one of their guns on the floor. He shot at the window and it shattered. He jumped out the window and landed on the roof of a car. Shouts could be heard as people were wondering what was happening. Gorgon laughed to himself and jumped down from the roof of the car. He shattered the window of the car and looked inside.
“Luck must be on my side.”Gorgon thought to himself as he saw that the keys were in the ignition. He hopped in the car and turned it on. Soldiers and Earth God members were coming towards him, seeing that he was trying to escape. He put the car in drive and drove down the road, leaving the angry enemies in the dust. Before he was out of sight, the Earth God members saw Gorgon flip them the bird.
