This is a new category I made that recognizes all the greats in this world.

Peter Robert Jackson, one of the greatest people in Hollywood today. He is a three-time Academy Award winning director,producer,and writer from New Zealand. He is best known for his Lord of the Rings trilogy and the remake of King Kong.Jackson first gained attention with his horror comedies.

Born on October 31,1961 in Pukerua Bay, a town near Wellington New Zealand. As a child Jackson was a keen film fan.After leaving school Jackson began working as a photoengraver at a newspaper company in Wellington, where he met some of the people who would work with him on his first feature film.

Over four years (from 1983 to 1987) the horror comedy Bad Taste grew in haphazard fashion into a 90-minute feature, with many of Jackson’s friends acting and working on it for free. Shooting was normally done in the weekends since Jackson was now working full-time.Bad Taste, is about aliens that come to earth with the desire of turning humans into food.With that movie made, it launched his career and made him the man he is today.

Jackson had always liked the King Kong and Lord of the Rings books. It was one of his dreams to make his own.In fact, King Kong was one of his favorite films, at the age of nine he attempted to make his own version of it using stop-motion models.As a teenager, Jackson discovered the works of author J.R.R. Tolkien.The Lord of the Rings. He instantly fell in love with the books.

The Lovely Bones-a movie version to Alice Sebold’s bestseller.

Tintin-Peter Jackson will be working along with Steven Speilburg.

Halo-Peter Jackson was going to make a movie version of this hit game,but the project went on hold when fiscal backers withdrew their support. But it is still a possibility it will  be made.

Dam Busters-A remake.

Temeraire-a novel about dragons being used in combat in the Napoleonic Wars and the story of a dragon named Temeraire and his captain, Will Laurence, during that time period.He’s gonna turn it into a movie.

Halo Chronicles- a game that Peter Jackson will be working on in the near future.

A Letter from Dr. Balder:

It has been about 8 months since the virus hit, but it has already taken its toll. Millions have already died and there are plenty more on the way. There are riots in the streets. Sure, most governments declared marshal law after the initial outbreak, but it did no good. There is no government, there is only anarchy.

I knew we could perfect it. I knew we could create the perfect soldier. My partner, Dr. Zalmon, had different plans however. He stole the still incomplete formula and unleashed it on an unsuspecting world. It spread like wildfire and now … the entire world is engulfed.

However, the virus, aptly named chaos virus, does not kill all of its victims. On the contrary, only 85% of those who catch it die, the others are given extraordinary power. The lust of power is what created the virus after all. It was initially a formula designed to give soldiers incredible strength and agility on the battlefield.

Amazingly enough, Dr. Zalmon is praised as a hero by many. He has followers, and lots of them. He claims that he has a higher purpose: To purge the world of all weakness. To “purify” humanity. He claims he is doing the world a service.

However, he is not the only one with followers. There are many of us who realize that he has done nothing but cause pain and suffering. We must find a cure…there is only one problem we don’t have the resources to support such research. We have a few hidden labs, but they are being destroyed by Dr. Zalmon’s followers. The only thing to do is to fight. We must take the resources if we wish to ever save the human race and we must destroy Dr. Whitehead so that we may live freely.

We must redeem humanity.

It’s been 8 months since I unleashed the virus upon the world. I believe it was my destiny to bring an end to the normal people of this world, allowing only the superior beings to live.I have gain some superiors to join my cause. But of course, there is always a rebel out there.And that rebel is my old partner Erik Balder!He has convinced some of the superiors to join him in order to take me down. The fool, I have far more followers than him.My cause is the future. I see no wrong in getting rid of the weaklings of this world and replacing them with the superiors.For if it wasn’t for this “Chaos Virus”as Erik calls it, we wouldn’t have gotten these grand powers.I must cleanse this world of the true virus and disease,the weaklings!

Erik Balder and I use to think it could be used to help soldiers on the battlefield.Giving them strength and agility. But I saw a better use for it. So I unleashed it upon the world. I was doing this world a favor!And this is the thanks I get! Erik trying to kill me because of it!

I am almost close to completing my goal. 85 % of the world’s population has died. Now it’s only a matter of time before the virus gets the rest.I have heard rumors of a few safezones out there. Well, I’ll just send some of my followers to these safezones and see how safe they’ll be when my followers are through with it.

Erik Balder seeks a cure for the virus. I must put a stop to him. Because no doubt he’ll succeed. He may be on the wrong side but he’s intelligent.It is my destiny to rule this world and bring it into a new decade!A decade,I’m afraid, that doesn’t allow weaklings to live.

(5 out of 5)This is a must-not miss movie this summer. It was pure awesome! Even better than Spider-Man(or just as equal, not sure)Anyway, the story starts off with the billionaire weapons designer  Tony Stark, showing the military his newest bomb.The Jericho. After a successful demonstration, Tony Stark is kidnapped by terrorist on the way home. Taken to the terrorist’s base, he finds out the very weapons he created, are being in the hands of the bad guys. During his captivity, he makes his first Iron Man suit and is able to escape the terrorists.Once back in the good ol U.S. Tony Stark has a change of heart and announces he’s getting out of the weapons business. He then starts working on a new Iron Man suit and is going to try to make things right, by getting those terrorist and destroying his very weapons that are now in their hands. This movie was a great way to start off the summer. With tons of action, comedy, and just the right amount of romance.(which is to a minimum)The fighting scenes were just pure sweet and there was not a boring part in this movie.It even has a surprise ending with Samuel L. Jackson, but you have to set through the credits to see it. But it’s worth it I’ll tell you that! I recommended everyone and anyone to see this movie.
